About me and my research

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate at The University of Chicago, Department of Statistics working under the guidance of Prof. Jian Ding. I obtained my bachelor's and Master's degrees in statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata in 2009 and 2011 respectively. Before joining The University of Chicago I worked for a year in Opera Solutions and Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd as an analytics specialist.

My primary research interest is in probability theory. Currently I am working on random planar geometry, specifically on metric properties of log-correlated Gaussian fields defined on plane. In the past I worked on combinatorial optimization and random constraint satisfaction problems. My CV can be found here.
