Statistics Page of Robert Adam Molnar

I am currently a graduate student in the Department of Statistics at the University of Chicago. I have completed all the requirements except my dissertation. The paper's on variable selection and Bayesian neural networks. I have a talk developing the Bayesian neural network, for which I've posted PowerPoint slides in PDF.

From January through May 2007, I will be an Instructor at Bellarmine University in the Department of Mathematics. I still need to polish and defend my dissertation. I suspect the time in Louisville will be good for that.

After spring in Louisville, I am interviewing for academic positions. If you're hiring, or interested, my CV (curriculum vitae, American stlye academic resume) is up to date as of February 1 in PDF format. I also posted PDF versions of my teaching statement and research statement.

If you're looking for work in statistics, particularly academic positions, here's a handy list of links to job lists.

Here, I keep a few pages relevant to my work. A description of Statistics is on the Statistics page, and the Stats button will also take you to that page. Of specific interest might be the short page of statistics quotes. I also have personal stuff, including pictures. It's not related to my work, and so is on a completely different server: twelvefruits.com.
