I am a currently a fifth year PhD student in the Statistics Department at the University of Chicago. My undergraduate degree was in mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania, where I graduated in 2012. My graduate research focuses on discovering ways to understand spatial and network data more efficiently, using techniques from computational harmonic analysis. Large-scale community detection and semi-supervised learning are the contemporary problems that interest me most. I also have professional and volunteer experience working as a statistical consultant in a wide array of fields.
