Teaching Statistics Seminar Series banner

This series will occur on an ad hoc basis. The series may include discussions, presentations, or demonstrations and intends to cover a broad set of topics related to the practice of teaching statistics: from teaching and learning styles to issues of course and curriculum content.

Please send suggestions for future speakers and/or topics to Linda Collins in the Department of Statistics at collins@galton.uchicago.edu.

Faculty and students from all departments are all welcome at the teaching seminars. In particular, Ph.D. students in the Department of Statistics who have not yet taught a course and Masters students interested in course assistant positions are strongly encouraged to attend.
