06-10-2009 Congratulations to our 2009 Consulting Award winners, Marcin Hitczenko and Phillip Lynch, for their outstanding participation in our Consulting Program. 05-01-2009 Prof.
Wei-Biao Wu and coauthor Xiaofeng Shao were awarded the "Tjalling C. Koopmans Econometric
Theory Prize 2008" for their article "A Limit Theorem for Quadratic
Forms and Its Applications" in Econometric Theory, Vol. 23, No. 5, October
2007, pages 930-951. The prize is awarded every three years for the best paper in
the journal Economic Theory over the past three years. The Koopmans
prize was established as a memorial to Tjalling C. Koopmans, 1975
Nobel Laureate in Economic Science, and his many lasting contributions
to econometrics. It is jointly supported by Cambridge University. 09-10-08 Position available
